Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
The nose is open, characterised by notes of dark chocolate, roasted plums, toasted wood, nutmeg and a hint of leather.
The palate is full-bodied, silky and well-balanced, with good substance and a lovely character featuring roasted notes and stewed red fruits.
The finish is elegant and lingering, with notes of cocoa and tobacco.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

CHÂTEAU LA GRÂCE DIEU
Château LA GRACE DIEU LES MENUTS spans a mosaic of Saint-Émilion’s finest terroirs:
To the west, on the gravelly hilltops bordering the prestigious Châteaux Figeac and Cheval Blanc.
To the east, on the clay-limestone plateau of Les Menuts, at the heart of the medieval town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A family-run estate since 1870, this domain has seen six generations succeed one another, each doing their utmost, balancing tradition and modernity, to preserve the distinctive character of its terroirs and enhance its current 17 hectares.
Certified to ISO 14001 and High Environmental Value (HVE) Level 3, the estate applies various agronomic techniques in order to:
Promote biodiversity in the vineyard,
Encourage soil life,
Strengthen the resilience of the vines,
Reduce its environmental impact. -
