Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is fine, marked by fresh spices and white pepper, fresh and open, with a subtle hint of English sweets.
The attack is supple and well-balanced, and the wine is frank and full-bodied.
Its fine character is accentuated by sweet spices and a hint of menthol.
The finish is supple and sapid, with good overall balance.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

DOMAINE DE L'OLIVETTE
Situated between land and sea, Domaine de l'Olivette produces rosé, red and white Bandol appellation wines. Terroir: Stretching out facing the Mediterranean, the vines rest on a soil of stones and rocks. Viticulture: The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: Cold skin maceration is carried out for certain grape varieties. The must is then clarified and fermented for 15 to 20 days.
