Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
The nose is straightforward, dominated by aromas of white peach, pomelo and fresh citrus fruit, which then open up to floral notes.
The attack is lively, providing tension and balance, with a character marked by freshness and white flowers.
The finish is sapid, with a long aftertaste.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

DOMAINE DU CHÂTEAU DE LA VIOLETTE
Founded in 1953, the Domaine du Château de la Violette was taken over by Charles-Henri Gayet in the early 2000s, and later joined by his daughter Pauline in 2010.
Located in the commune of Les Marches, at the heart of Savoie’s wine region, the team now works on around 40 hectares.
The estate includes both its historic vineyards and additional parcels acquired over time, notably those from the Domaine Charles Gonnet in Chignin. -
