Fruity and crisp

Pale yellow colour with bright yellow highlights. Open nose with notes of white flowers and candied lemon, a touch of mineral and candied peach. Fleshy, ample attack on candied white fruits and citrus fruits. Good balance. Character with candied lemon and iodine notes. The finish is quite ample, with a medium persistence on white flower syrup and saline notes.

Domain and appellation

DOMAINE FELIX

Burgundy has been the birthplace of the Félix family for several centuries. Since 1692, generations of winegrowers have succeeded one another in this world-renowned land. Proud of their roots, Hervé, Marie-Claire and Olivier cultivate their vines in the heart of the Auxerrois vineyard according to the rules of the art. The Kimmeridgian limestone-clay subsoil of the Upper Jurassic and the perfect exposure of the old vines, the oldest of which were planted in 1931, give the Sauvignon, Aligoté, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and César grapes their full identity in the Saint-Bris, Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre, Chablis and Irancy appellations The grapes are sorted and then pressed at low pressure to obtain only the juice of the highest quality fruit. The wine is matured in stainless steel vats or in French oak barrels for up to 18 months before blending, depending on the vintage and the parcels.
