Powerful bouquet

Open nose with notes of toasted wood, vanilla and toasted bread, with a hint of dried apricot.

 

Luscious attack, slight sapid bitterness, good balance and tension.

 

Long finish with notes of brioche and candied yellow fruit.

Features

Domain and appellation

    Domaine de l’Aigle, located near the village of Roquetaillade, close to Limoux, at the foot of the Pyrenees, is a 47-hectare estate situated between 250 and 500 metres in altitude, making it one of the highest vineyards in the Haute Vallée de l’Aude and the entire Languedoc.

     

    The Gewürztraminer vines thrive in climatic conditions similar to their Alsatian origins: an oceanic climate with semi-continental influences, regular rainfall, and significant temperature variations.

     

    The grapes are cultivated using sustainable farming practices, following the Terra Vitis approach, which ensures traceability of viticultural practices, verified by an independent body.
