Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
The nose is frank and distinctive, with notes of beeswax, candied quince and a hint of spicy ginger, before opening up to notes of candied orange and acacia honey.
The attack is supple, carried by roundness and a lovely finesse.
The finish is clean and delicious, reminiscent of quince paste and honey, with a clean, expressive and perfectly balanced character.
The subtle tension brings momentum without ever weighing down the wine.
A generous, bright and flavourful white wine, perfectly balanced.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

CLOS DU CIRON
Nestled in the commune of Bommes, within the prestigious Sauternes appellation, Clos du Ciron covers 24 hectares, enclosed by a traditional stone wall.
Of these, 15 hectares are planted with AOC Sauternes vines, featuring the classic grape varieties: Sauvignon, Muscadelle, and Sémillon.
The estate is bordered by the Ciron River, a vital natural element in the formation of the morning mists that settle over the vineyard at the end of summer and early autumn.
Combined with warm afternoon sunshine, this unique microclimate encourages the growth of Botrytis Cinerea, the noble rot responsible for the world-renowned sweet wines of Sauternes.
At the heart of the property stands a beautiful manor house and its outbuildings — a lasting reminder that the crafting of Sauternes wines has been a tradition carried on here for many generations.
