Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
The nose is open, characterised by menthol and spicy notes, complemented by hints of smoky wood, roasted aromas and a hint of burnt horn, with a touch of blueberry syrup.
The attack is supple, with medium body and harmonious balance.
The palate is straightforward, with ripe tannins that will soften, supported by a light texture.
The finish is medium-length, leaving a structured and evolving impression.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

CHÂTEAU TOUR DES TERMES
Classified as a Cru Bourgeois, Château Tour des Termes thrives today through the successive efforts of several generations to develop this prestigious estate.
Located in the commune of Saint-Estèphe, the vineyard is composed of a double terroir of gravel and clay-limestone soils.
Vinification: Blended with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this great wine benefits from a thermo-regulated parcel-based vinification and a 15-month maturation in oak barrels. 50% of the barrels are renewed each year.
