    Château Lynch-Bages is located in Pauillac. It was classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 classification. Château Lynch-Bages has belonged to the Cazes family since 1939. The Lynch-Bages vineyard covers 105 hectares of vines on the Bages plateau near the Gironde. The soil in this region is typical of Pauillac, with a combination of deep gravel, sand and clay, which provides excellent drainage and heat retention, favouring optimal ripening of the grapes. Château Lynch-Bages is committed to sustainable, environmentally-friendly viticulture. The estate has introduced a number of practices designed to minimise its ecological impact, including HVE certification. The grapes are harvested by hand, with selective sorting in the vineyard and on the table.
