Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Pale straw colour with green highlights, clear and brilliant. Open, aromatic nose, with notes of passion fruit, citrus and lime, frank, fresh and airy. Tart, greedy, mellow attack, with notes of flower syrup, lemon syrup and candied pear. Good sugar/acidity balance. Greedy finish, acidic point, medium persistence on white flower syrup.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • Lionel Osmin & Cie

As soon as the first frosts of autumn arrive, the golden, sun-drenched bunches of Gros Manseng and Sauvignon Blanc are picked to produce this soft, refreshing and gentle wine. It enchants with notes of grapefruit, pineapple, pear and bourbon vanilla and a low alcohol content. This wine bears the evocative name of the famous beach of Anglet in the Basque Country, on the Atlantic coast.
