    Bought by Baron Philippe de Rothschild in 1970, this 5th Grand Cru Classé is located in the Pauillac terroir.

        Terroir: The 41-hectare vineyard lies on sandy gravel and clay-limestone soil. Viticulture: The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for 15 to 22 days. The wine is then matured for 16 to 18 days in oak barrels (30% new).
