Powerful bouquet

The nose is open, frank and complex, spicy, with notes of citrus fruit, red fruit and herbs, and a hint of coriander.

 

Full-bodied and fleshy on the palate, with citrus fruits and spices.

 

The finish is clean and complex, with hints of bergamot, cranberries and spices, and a long aftertaste.

Features

Domain and appellation

  • CHÂTEAU CAVALIER

    Owned by Maison Castel since 2000, Château Cavalier is located between Aix-en-Provence and Nice in the Var and produces top-quality rosé wines. Terroir: Spread over 132 hectares, the vines grow on shallow, sandy-loam soils made up of sandstone and clay, which favour drainage. Each hectare has 5,500 vines. Viticulture: The grapes are harvested in the coolest hours of the night to protect the berries from oxidation.
