Domain and appellation

  • CHÂTEAU DE LA TERRIÈRE

    Château de la Terrière has stood in Cercié, in the heart of the Beaujolais region, since the 16th century. It is one of the oldest estates in the region.

     

    The vines, which cover a total area of 12 hectares, are on average 50 years old. They are spread out in a single block on a pink granite hillside at La Terrière, facing due south, mid-slope.

     

    Winemaker Yoan Pitoiset's aim is to give the wine time to fully express itself and reflect the complexity of the terroir.

     

    Here, we produce a fruity, supple wine with a mineral finish.
