CHÂTEAU CROIZET BAGES
Château Croizet-Bages is a wine estate located in Pauillac, in the Bordeaux region. It was classified as a Fifth Growth in the famous 1855 classification. Château Croizet-Bages has belonged to the Quié family since 1942. Paul Quié, a Parisian wine merchant and wine enthusiast, bought the estate and set about restoring it, while his son Jean-Michel, with the help of his children, has brought the Château up to date. The Croizet-Bages vineyard extends over some 27 hectares around the hamlet of Bages. The soils are mainly composed of deep gravel and gravelly sand, which favours excellent drainage and good ripening of the grapes. Château Croizet-Bages is certified High Environmental Value (HVE).
