Our oenologists' opinion
Well-rounded
The nose is frank and open, carried by notes of sweet spices, mocha and roasted coffee, evoking a warm and generous world.
The attack is supple, with beautiful balance, delicate tension and well-controlled finesse.
The character first expresses itself with red fruit syrup, before sliding towards sweet spices, in a round, indulgent palate carried by supple tannins.
An atypical profile that seduces with its personality and accuracy.
Beautiful persistence, with a subtly mineral, elegant and balanced finish.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

CHÂTEAU DE BELLEVUE
SOIL: This Beaujolais terroir, located in the western part of the appellation at an altitude between 350 and 400 metres, stretches across gently sloping hillsides facing southwest.
Late-ripening and cool, it gives the wines a lovely tension. The fluvio-glacial soil, composed of clay and large sandstone blocks, provides structure and complexity.VINIFICATION & AGEING:
The grapes, harvested at perfect ripeness, undergo double sorting: once in the vineyard, and again at the winery.
The fruit is destemmed and transferred by gravity, with no added SO₂.
A traditional fermentation lasts 10 to 12 days, with the use of submerged cap fermentation and gentle pump-overs to ensure a soft extraction.
Ageing takes place in concrete and stainless-steel vats for 9 to 10 months. -
