The nose is open, expressive and delicious, with notes of raspberry coulis, peony, exotic fruit and black pepper, with a hint of candied cherry. Fleshy, full-bodied attack, good body. Character with fresh red fruit and hints of early fruit, full-bodied. The finish is full-bodied, with tannins that are present but soft and round, well-balanced, and a long aftertaste of candied cherry and black pepper.
