Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is open and generous, offering aromas of plums, lilac, blueberry and a touch of peppermint, accompanied by a light cherry coulis.

 

The attack is supple, marked by tension and body, with ripe tannins that wrap the palate in a lovely roundness.

 

The character reveals itself on notes of red fruit au gratin, bringing depth and richness.

 

The finish is supple, fruity and greedy, full-bodied, with a lovely intensity of wild berry gratin, offering great openness.

Features

    It was introduced to the Quercy by the Romans.

     

    They developed its production while bringing expertise.

     

    Faced with the success of this wine, in 92 AD, Emperor Domitian ordered half of the vineyard to be uprooted to protect Italian production, but the people disobeyed him.
