Lisandru Leccia practises AB-certified organic viticulture and Biodyvin-certified biodynamic viticulture: manual labour, controlled grass cover, limited use of copper and sulphur treatments, and hand-harvesting. Old vines, low yields, and a gravity-fed cellar.

Domain and appellation

    A family-run estate founded in 1900 in Poggio d’Oletta, in the heart of the Patrimonio AOC (Haute-Corse). 15 hectares on clay-limestone slopes, organically farmed since 2007 and practising Biodyvin biodynamics since Lisandru Leccia took over in 2015.

     

    Lisandru, an oenologist trained in Dijon with experience in Burgundy and the United States, took over the estate from his aunt Annette after four generations of family tradition. One of the appellation’s leading estates, combining a strong regional identity with rigorous viticulture.

     

    Red: vinification using indigenous yeasts, whole-bunch fermentation, gentle pressing, slow maceration, low sulphite levels (<30 mg total sulphites), fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aged in stainless steel tanks for 12 months.
