Our oenologists' opinion
Get enchanted by the greedy and mineral fragrances evoking fresh hazelnuts and toasted bread of this pale and yellow sparkling wine. In mouth, its roundness allies with its great freshness, on the whole creating a well-balanced wine. Its bubbles are melted and creamy. Its length is full of frankness. This sparkling wine will satisfy the taste buds of wine lovers and beginners alike.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
In viticulture and oenological terminology, the “grume” is an old noun designating the grape. “Grumer” refers to the process of sending a sip of wine to the back of the mouth before bringing it forward by tilting the head.
Domain and appellation
Here is the new addition to the Les Grumes family! Get tempted by this sparkling wine manufactured at the heart of the best terroirs at the North of Italy and carefully selected by Nicolas. Its incredible freshness is the result of a method invented by Fererico Martinotti in 1895 and patented by Eugène Charmat in 1907. It consists of creating the foam of the wine under pressure tanks and not in the bottle. Used all around the world, this process is used to create the popular Prosecco.
You will appreciate tasting it with your loved ones to celebrate or just to have a good time. It will also match perfectly with your favorite cocktails such as Spritz and Bellini !
