Fruity and crisp
Bright yellow colour with bright green highlights, clear and brilliant. Open nose with vegetal notes of gentian, quinine and cola, and a hint of thyme. Attack on bitterness and sweetness, tension, typical. Greedy finish on honey and aromatic herbs.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

To serve, chill the glass with ice. Pour long drinks on the rocks, accompanied with an orange or lemon slice.
Domain and appellation
Looking to design a different aperitif, which wouldn’t be based on wine, Fernand Moureaux got the idea in 1889 to distil gentian roots. A few years later in 1896, Henri Porte created the famous Suze bottle, which is immediately recognizable.
- Production: Suze is an aperitif made from gentian, enhanced with a good mix of aromatic plant extracts, obtained by maceration. Its subtle sweet/bitter combination awakens the taste buds.
