Domain and appellation
Kiyomi means "Pure Beauty" in Japanese. This rum has been carefully crafted in Nago City, Okinawa Island by the Helios Distillery.
Helios is the oldest distillery in Japan, producing rum since 1961, at the request of the United States military at that time in Okinawa. This rum is a distillate of local sugar cane molasses, in a copper pot still. The sugar cane benefits from a soil rich in minerals and a tropical climate, which gives this rum minerality and salinity. A white rum has an unparalleled aromatic explosion.
ROBE: Clear, translucent.
NEZ: Very exotic characteristics with hints of pineapple and a hint of smoke.
BOUCHE: Round and powerful with a touch of sweetness. FINAL: Slightly peppery.
