Powerful bouquet

Shiny golden yellow colour. Frank and open nose of white fruits, pineapple, white flowers, mimosas, white chocolate. Good balance, full-bodied, enveloped, marked character with notes of gingerbread, pepper but also white fruits. Beautiful straightforward lengthening.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

In July 2015, the Nikka group was rewarded, at the international Spirits Challenge of London, by receiving the title of "Distiller of the Year" as well as a "trophy" (the highest distinction of the competition) for their whiskey: Nikka From the Barrel.

    The last creation of the house of Nikka Days is a subtle blend of grain and malt whiskeys. Smooth, fruity and soft, this whiskey seduces all the ameteurs and connaisseurs alike with its floral and fruity notes. With great flexibility, it lets notes of cereals, toffee, malt and lightly vanilla roasted nutes exprese themselves in the mouth. The finish comes with a perfect equilibrium between fruit and the malty aspect of Nikka Days. A whiskey with a soft and fruity profile, to be tasted pure or in a cocktail.
