Domain and appellation
Château de Laubade
Founded in 1870, the first owner of Château de Laubade was Joseph Noulens, former Ambassador of France in St. Petersburg and Minister of War under Georges Clemenceau. This domain of 105 hectares is based on soil tawny sands and boulbènes. Laubade Castle is one of the few properties to cultivate the 4 traditional grapes of the appellation: Ugni Blanc, Baco, Colombard and Folle Blanche.
- Manufacturing: 100% of the vintages are coming from a single harvest. The vintages age for a minimum of 15 years in oak barrels of Gascony.
