Bought in the 2000s by a group of local investors, the DUSA (Distillerias United S.A.) distillery is situated at the foot of the Andes mountain range. In 2004, it launched in the market at the famous Diplomatico Reserva. Distillery: this distillery is more than 100 years old and knows how to keep an artisanal know-how. Thanks to a large stock of old rum; it has developed beautifully complex blends. Making: From a rigorous selection rums made from sugar cane honey (90%) and molasses (10%), Seleccion de Familia is aged for 12 years in white american oak barrels, ex- bourbon and ex-sherry.
