MANDARINE NAPOLÉON
Introduced to Europe in the early 19th century, mandarins were considered an exotic fruit. The habit of macerating the mandarins in cognac was quickly adopted. Thus the Mandarin Napoleon was born, which the Fourcroy family commercialised at the end of the 19th century. Still today, the recipe for this internationally known liqueur is kept secret and carefully passed down from generation to generation by the Fourcroy family.
Delicious and savoury, it can be consumed alone or in a cocktail and it serves as a base for many culinary preparations.
- Production: Mandarine Napoléon is a refined liqueur based on cognac, mandarin zest from Spain and Sicily and a secret mixture of spices.
