Château de Laubade
Founded in 1870, the first owner of Château de Laubade was Joseph Noulens, former French Ambassador to St Petersburg and Minister of War, Finance and Agriculture in the government of Georges Clémenceau. Today, the estate belongs to the Lesgourgues family, who have owned it since 1974. Château de Laubade is one of the few properties to cultivate, on a 105-hectare estate, the 4 traditional grape varieties of the appellation: Ugni Blanc, Baco, Colombard and Folle Blanche.
