Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Lemon yellow colour with golden hues, beautiful, straightforward, open nose of yellow peaches, candied fruits (dried figs, prunes), fresh notes of peppermint, coriander, toasted hazelnut notes, toasted bread. Beautiful balance with a fine, creamy, elegant bubble. Long, powerful and tense finish. A beautiful moment of finesse, elegance and minerality!

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

To celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2022, Nicolas is launching an exceptional cuvée, in the purest tradition of Blanc de blancs grand cru champagnes. This 2002 vintage has been produced in a limited series: only 2000 copies are available.
