Our oenologists' opinion
Well-rounded
The nose is open and expressive, revealing aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits, enhanced by a hint of frangipane.
The attack is lively, marked by ample bubbles that quickly fade, giving way to a balanced character of candied citrus and white flower syrup.
The finish is sapid and slightly full-bodied, lingering on notes of white pepper, with medium persistence.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

MOËT & CHANDON
The House of Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, a visionary wine merchant, who quickly made it a favourite among Europe’s royal courts.
A few decades later, his grandson Jean-Rémy Moët expanded the international prestige of the House. It was Jean-Rémy Moët who created the House’s iconic cuvée, Moët Impérial, in honour of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, a regular visitor to the estate.
Legend has it that Napoleon and his troops began the tradition of sabring Moët & Chandon bottles to celebrate their victories. -
