Features

Domain and appellation

  • CHÂTEAU DE BLIGNY

    Built in 1773 by the Marquis de Dampierre on the foundations of a medieval castle, Château de Bligny is distinguished by its unique architecture. It is also today the only champagne estate to bear the appellation Château.

     

    •     Terroir:

    Located not far from the Cistercian abbey of Clairvaux on the Côte des Bars, the estate covers more than 20 hectares.

     

    •     Vinification:

    Produced using the traditional method, this Champagne Grande Réserve is blended with equal parts of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

    Ce champagne m'a été offert lors de mon départ à la retraite par ma Direction et depuis je n'aime que lui! Il est léger il est fruité il est délicieux et tous autour de moi sont du même avis chaque fois que je le partage. Je recommande.
