The attack is full-bodied, supported by a beautiful texture and harmonious balance.


The palate is frank and distinctive, developing a savoury finish with notes of undergrowth and a rich, structured profile.


The finish is of medium length, lingering on accents of tobacco with great smoothness and finesse.

    The wines of Azienda UGGIANO are crafted in the finest Tuscan tradition.


    The Castello di Montespertoli (13th century), located near Florence, is the birthplace of the estate.

     

    The cellars are situated at the heart of the Chianti vineyards, close to the Pesa River.

     

    Ageing at UGGIANO is carried out in 225-litre barrels sourced from cooperages in France’s Massif Central region: Allier, Vosges, and Nevers.
