Our oenologists' opinion
Well-rounded
Straw-yellow colour with bright yellow reflections, discreet cordon, rather fine and discreet bubbles, limpid and shiny. Nose open to citrus fruits, white peach and white flowers. A frank and tart attack on white and citrus fruits. Fine and elegant bubbles, vinous, powerful. Nice character. Finish on citrus fruits, well-balanced, champagne for aperitif!

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
2400 bottles of Heidsieck & Co 1907 vintage were found in the Jonkoping wreck in 1998. This ship would was hit by a submarine during World War I as it was supposed to deliver Champagne to Russia.
