Our oenologists' opinion
Ruby colour with some purple tints, nice frank and floral nose of violet, lilac, fruity notes of sour cherries, blueberries, nice balance on a rather vinous and frank wine, nice fruit, the tannins are soft, nice frank length with peppery and spicy notes
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
The entire Cub Nicolas range is made from grapes grown on farms with High Environmental Value certification. This certification, resulting from the Grenelle de l'Environnement, is awarded to winegrowers and farmers who have achieved the level of environmental certification that guarantees that the agricultural practices used on all farms preserve the natural ecosystem and reduce the pressure on the environment to a minimum.
Domain and appellation
Rich in its great diversity of grape varieties and terroirs, the Côtes du Rhône offers supple and generous wines. Crossed by the Rhône, this emblematic Protected Designation of Origin benefits from a Mediterranean climate marked by the Mistral, which gives it a real personality.
