RHÔNE VALLEY WINES

Divided in two ensembles, the Rhône valley spreads across 71,014 hectares. Concentrated around the Rhône left and right banks, the septentrional part offers some the most prestigious appellations with syrah and viognier as flagship grape varieties. Scattered between Valence and Arles, the meridional part accounts for 94% of the region’s winegrowing surface and offers a broad pedoclimatic diversity. The region is internationally renown for its GSM blend (grenache, syrah and mourvèdre).
