Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
Pale straw yellow colour with pale yellow highlights. The nose is open, frank and typical, with notes of white peach, William pear, vanilla and almond milk, with a hint of white pepper. Supple on the palate, full and taut. White fruit and hawthorn character. Sappy, clean finish, freshness, medium persistence on white flowers.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
In 1997, the Bouzeron appellation was recognised in its own right as one of Burgundy's Villages appellations. The PDO honours the grape variety that made it famous: Aligoté.

CHANZY
The golden gateway to this beautiful "Côte", Bouzeron's white Oxfordian marl gives it a racy minerality that blends well with hints of fruit and flowers. Supple, consistent, with a texture chiselled by an alert liveliness, it can be enjoyed at any stage of its life, for while it is delicious when young, it develops great complexity with age and proves to be a great wine for gourmets.
