Fruity and crisp

Brick colour. Frank nose, with cherry pit, kirsch, spices and notes of undergrowth. Supple attack. Frank character, red fruits, kirsch, notes of black pepper, spices. Tension, envelope. Clean finish, good persistence.

Features

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

    Fondée en 1906 suite à la crise phylloxérique, la Fruitière Vinicole d’Arbois est une cave coopérative créée sous l’impulsion de 26 vignerons arboisiens. En 1969, elle acquiert le Château Béthanie, situé au cœur de la ville jurassienne d’Arbois. Elle l’équipe d’un chai et d’installations de vinification performantes destinés à la vinification des 5 cépages jurassiens : Poulsard Trousseau, Pinot noir, Savagnin et Chardonnay.
