Garnet colour with purple highlights. Clear nose of candied red fruits and herbs. Woody notes, caramel. Supple attack, roundness, balance. Frankly greedy length. Character on red fruit coulis, fresh spices. Typicity. Good persistence

Features

Domain and appellation

  • DOMAINE LA MÉLODIE DE L'AME

    In the commune of Jonquières, the estate extends over 8 hectares around the village dominated by Mont Baudile. The vines, aged between 12 and 50 years, flourish on clay-limestone soil covered with pebbles, swept by the Tramontana wind and bathed in sunshine. The combined scents of garrigue and wild fruit fill our wines with their subtle aromas. Leaning over my father's land, my rough hand on the grapes becomes gentle, while the setting sun coats the plain, the vines fall asleep in a warm light, all is calm and beauty. The wine is a melody, the terroir its soul.
