Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is frank and generous, expressing notes of almonds and dried fruit, enhanced by aromas of candied citrus fruits.
The attack is supple, carried by fine bubbles and well-integrated sweetness, offering a beautiful balance.
The palate is rich and harmonious, developing flavours of white-fleshed fruits and brioche notes.
The finish, of medium length, remains sapid and elegant, with a smooth texture.

La Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill, cuvée de prestige de la Maison Pol Roger, a été créée en hommage à Sir Winston Churchill, en s’inspirant des qualités qu’il appréciait dans le Champagne : robustesse, charpente et maturité.
Si sa composition exacte demeure un secret jalousement gardé par les membres de la famille, il est indéniable qu’elle repose sur une philosophie que son dédicataire n’aurait pas reniée :
« Mes goûts sont simples, je me contente aisément de ce qu’il y a de meilleur », aimait-il à dire…Composée exclusivement de raisins issus de Grands Crus de Pinot Noir et de Chardonnay, cette cuvée n’est élaborée qu’en quantités limitées et uniquement lors des meilleurs millésimes.
La prédominance du Pinot Noir assure la structure, la plénitude et la robustesse de l’ensemble, tandis que le Chardonnay lui confère élégance, finesse et une touche d’impertinence.
