Fruity and well-rounded

Golden colour. Clean floral nose, acacia, honey. Opens with aromas of vanilla, yellow fruit and mineral notes. Supple attack thanks to the roundness of the envelope. Lively and nervous. White flower character, corner notes. Good balance. Good persistence.

Domain and appellation

  • Château d'Epiré

    Situé sur les hauteurs d’Epiré, le Château d’Epiré se transmet de Père en fils depuis 1882. C’est le plus vieux domaine familial de l’appellation Savennières. Le vignoble d’une douzaine d’hectares est installé sur les plus hauts coteaux de l’appellation Savennières, dans le village d’Epiré. Les vignes sont cultivées dans des conditions idéales : surplombant la Loire le vignoble profite pleinement de l’exposition Sud Est sur terroir schisteux. L’élevage des vins est effectué sur lies, dans des petites cuves en inox. La cave est idéalement située dans une charmante église romaine du XII siècle que transformer en cellier en 1906. Cette église est un endroit idéal pour le vin où la température et l’humidité y sont naturellement maîtrisées à tout moment de l’année grâce à la belle épaisseur des murs.
