L'avis de nos oenologues
Well-rounded
Garnet colour with dark brick tints. A frank, open nose with a bouquet of black fruit coulis, roasted wood, toast, Agen prunes and a fresh hint of pepper. Good balance on a frank, full-bodied wine with finesse. Character that extends the notes of the nose, roasting, butterscotch, cinnamon, ripe, mellow tannins, supple. Ready to drink.

Caractéristiques
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Le saviez-vous ?

CHÂTEAU SUAU
Located in Capian, 30km south-east of Bordeaux, this 16th-century château was once the hunting lodge of Jean-Louis de Nogaret de la Valette, Duke of Épernon. Restored in the 17th century, the property was bought by the de Suau family in 1637. Over the years, Château Suau had several buyers before being acquired by the Bonnet de Mazamet family in 1986. Since 2014, the current majority shareholder has been Argentinian businessman Alejandro Bulgheroni Terroir: The 66-hectare estate lies on clay-gravel hillsides. Château Suau has been producing organic wine since 2008. Since 2018, all the wines produced on the estate are Vegan.
