Powerful bouquet

Deep garnet colour with carmine highlights. Open nose with notes of cola, gentian and aromatic herbs, a hint of blood orange and eucalyptus. Greedy attack, on syrup, then, notes of nutmeg, clove and cayenne pepper. Sappy finish, with sweetness, bitterness and spices.

C’est en 1860 à Milan que Gaspare Campari élabora la fameuse et complexe recette du Campari : une infusion de plus de 25 herbes amères, plantes aromatiques et fruits dans de l'alcool neutre auquel on ajoute de l'eau et du sucre. Cette recette, inchangée au fil des années, reste un secret connu uniquement par une poignée de personnes chargées de sa production. Sa couleur rouge vif est reconnaissable entre toutes et son goût amer est plus que caractéristique. Aujourd’hui, le Campari Spritz sert de base à de nombreux cocktails dont certains sont devenus célèbres, tels que l’Americano ou encore le Negroni.
