Powerful bouquet

Garnet colour with brick glints. Frank nose, woody, notes of caramel, undergrowth. Opens with roasted prunes, hints of cumin and a hint of menthol. Supple attack, roundness, balance, good length on aromas of truffles, cocoa. Frank character, freshness, balance. Frank and persistent finish.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

This micro-parcel is recognised as a remarkable locality, whose location reveals a strong personality. Jean Loron already farmed plots in this area, below the windmill, at the beginning of the 18th century. Granite terroir, rich in minerals, in the "Champ de Cour" climate. The vines nestle at the foot of the windmill and face due south. VINIFICATION & BREEDING Selection of the finest plots, the grapes are gently destemmed. Vatting time between 25 and 35 days. Aged in barrels on fine lees for 8 to 9 months.
