Aging is a specific winemaking technique used on the sparkling wines of Champagne and Loire. The wine, lying horizontally on laths, undergoes a second fermentation after adding sugar.

  • Domaine du Petit Coteau

    Belonging to the Feray Vineyards, the area of Petit Coteau uses organic farming.
     
    • Terroir: This area of 16 hectares is based on silty clay soil. The wine comes from a single plot located at a place called "Les grenouilles" in Vernou-sur-Brenne.

     

    • Vinification: The fermentation vats are used before maturing for minimum 12 months on slats.

    Prix élevé pour un Vouvray pétillant mais totalement justifié vu la qualité, il est excellent, bien meilleurs que la plupart des champagnes qui coûte le triple.
