Powerful bouquet

A clear, brilliant old gold colour with bronze highlights.

 

A straightforward, distinctive nose dominated by vanilla aromas and citrus zest, with a hint of wood.

 

Well-balanced, round, full-bodied palate, marked by a lovely sweetness.

 

Woody character with notes of clove and cold tobacco, lightened by a subtle touch of lemon zest.

 

The finish is clean, straightforward and long, lingering on notes of tobacco.

Caractéristiques

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

The word Whisky means a grain spirit (malted or not) produced in Scotland whereas Whiskey produced in Ireland or the United States which is commonly called "Bourbon". 

Le domaine et l'appellation

  • JACK DANIEL'S

    Fondée en 1866 par Jack Daniel, alors âgé de 19 ans, elle est considérée comme la plus vieille distillerie enregistrée aux Etats-Unis. Bourbon Jack Daniel's Old n°7 a remporté 7 médailles d’or du meilleur whiskey depuis 1904 et c’est ainsi qu’il est devenu l’emblème de la marque.
     
    • Distillerie: La distillerie Jack Daniel’s est située à Lynchburg dans le Tennessee.

     

    • Fabrication: Ce Bourbon est composé à 80 % de maïs, 12% d’orge malté et 8% de seigle. Il est vieilli au minimum 2 ans dans des fûts de chêne neufs, après quoi il est filtré à travers 3 mètres de charbon de bois d’érable pour lui donner ce goût unique.
