Features

Body The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Fondée en 1724 par Rémy Martin, viticulteur dans la région de Cognac, la Maison Rémy Martin, acquise depuis par le groupe Rémy Cointreau, est animée par la même ambition depuis lors : capturer le Cœur du Cognac.

Pour élaborer des cognacs haut de gamme, elle sélectionne des raisins des deux meilleurs crus de la région, la Grande et Petite Champagne.

Créé en 1997, ce cognac rend hommage à une étape importante de l’histoire de la maison. En effet, en 1738, le roi Louis XV, impressionné par la qualité des cognacs de Rémy Martin, lui a accordé la permission exclusive de planter de nouvelles vignes à travers un accord royal.
