Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Dark brick colour with some garnet highlights. Frank nose, still woody notes that melt away, roasting, cocoa, notes of burnt caramel, grilled pepper, hint of blackcurrant coulis. Good balance, full-bodied, vinous, straightforward, small envelope with a touch of sweetness. Ripe tannins that melt, good winey and tense length.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

    The 2019 Château d'Arcins is an exceptional vintage. The Cabernets on gravel and the Merlots on clay have reached their peak. To be drunk young or kept, this vintage will remain in the annals.
