Fruity and crisp

Light yellow colour with white gold highlights. Typical, straightforward nose with citrus fruit and mineral notes, opening up to aromas of pomelo. Lively attack, well-balanced, taut, with a long, long finish of fresh citrus fruit and exotic fruit. Iodine and mineral notes. Good persistence.

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

The name Cheval Noir comes from the legend that a fine, elegant and fast horse harvested the vineyard.

  • CHÂTEAU CHEVAL NOIR

    Crafted from a blend of wines sourced from different partner vineyards, Cheval Noir Bordeaux Blanc reflects the expertise and skills of our oenologists. Extensive research is conducted in the Bordeaux vineyard to identify the terroirs most favorable for optimal ripeness of the Sauvignon Blanc variety, which makes up the majority of this wine. The Sémillon adds roundness and complexity.

    • Vinification and Aging: The harvest is carried out "early" to preserve the wine's freshness.

     

    The vinification process is designed to best express the rich aromas of Sauvignon Blanc.

     

    The skin maceration and low-temperature fermentation optimize the extraction of aromas.

     

    Aging on fine lees, with stirring, enhances the wine's balance and finesse, while adding structure and length and intensifying the obtained aromas.
