Powerful wine with potential

Deep golden yellow colour with green highlights. Lovely open and frank nose with notes of salted butter caramel, orange peel, cocoa and roasted notes. Powerful, fine and well-balanced, full-bodied, enveloped, ample. Nice character with candied fruits, candied cherries, praline notes, smoky hints. Good length, taut, straightforward, vigorous and well-signed.

Caractéristiques

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

  • Glenfiddich

    This 15 year old single malt offers notes of fruit, spice and honey. Aged in three different casks: Sherry, bourbon and new oak, it is blended in a Solera cask and then in Portuguese oak casks. This process gives this single malt its depth and harmony. A whisky with intriguing aromas and vibrant flavours.
