Founded by Girolamo Luxardo in 1821, Luxardo remains a family business, now run by the 5th, 6th and 7th generations. Internationally recognised for its specialities based on Marasca cherries.

A sweet and refined liqueur with an almond flavour, distinguished by stronger vanilla notes and slightly drier aromas than the classic amaretti. The typical almond flavour of Amaretto Di Saschira is brought by the essential oils contained in the pits (peaches, cherries, etc. used to produce this liqueur).
