L'avis de nos oenologues
Powerful bouquet
This dark garnet-colored wine releases fragrances of prunes, tobacco, and nutmeg. The supple attack leaves space for notes of red fruits, black fruits and nutmeg. These features come together in a good balance before a tasteful finish that distinguishes itself with its full-bodied taste, its elegance and its nice persistency.

Caractéristiques
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Le saviez-vous ?
The craze associated with the Saint-Emilion appellation is historic. Loved by Roman and English kings, Louis XIV consecrated it, calling it "nectar of the gods."

Château La Grâce Dieu Les Menuts
The history of Château La Grâce Dieu Les Menuts is dictated by the passion passed on between six generations of winegrowers from the same family since 1875. In the heart of Saint-Emilion, nature seems to have fashioned a vineyard uniting the gravelly hilltops of Pomerol to the west with the clay-limestone plateau of "Les Menuts" to the east of the medieval town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Between tradition and modernity, the Château makes every effort to preserve the typicity of its terroirs.
Terroir: the 17-hectare vineyard is based on a veritable mosaic of terroirs with a grape variety composed of 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.
Viticulture: ISO 14001 certified (EMS association of the wine industry).
Bordeaux) and High Environmental Value Level 3, different agronomic techniques are implemented to promote biodiversity in our vineyard and life in our soils in order to develop a better resistance of our vines and thus limit our impact on the environment. The grapes are picked and sorted by hand by our faithful grape pickers.Vinification: Sulphite-free fermentation and ageing for one year in French oak barrels.
