Fruity and well-rounded

Orange in colour, with a hint of russet. Frank nose with citrus notes of candied orange, acidulous and floral notes. Sweet attack, well-balanced, good bitterness, lingering orange zest. Clean finish with floral notes.

Caractéristiques

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Aperol is used to make the famous Aperol Spritz cocktail: pour 6cl of brut sparkling wine (prosecco), 4cl of Aperol, a little San Pellegrino and put half an orange slice directly into a glass.

Le domaine et l'appellation

  • APEROL

    Aperol is a light aperitif made from herbs, plants and bitter orange. It was created in 1919 by brothers Silvio and Luigi Barbieri in Padua, Northern Italy. The recipe for the authentic Spritz; in a glass filled with ice cubes pour :

        3 parts Riccadonna Prosecco 2 parts Aperol 1 part sparkling water.

    Garnish with a slice of orange: ready!
