Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Dark garnet colour with fuchsia highlights. Open nose of blackberry coulis, notes of fresh figs and violets, with a hint of lilac. The finish is spicy, satiny and floral, with hints of old rose. Tannins are present but ripe, with medium persistence on crushed red fruit and black pepper.

Produced by GWS, Bialoni is made in the fertile valley of the river Alazani, in the eastern Kakheti region of Georgia. Famous for its rich wine-growing terroir and ideal conditions for the cultivation of several rare grape varieties, GWS owns 400 hectares of vineyards, including 280 hectares of red grape varieties and 120 hectares of white grape varieties. These include 70% traditional Georgian varieties and 30% international varieties.
